Life Sciences Libraries

Which Libraries Have Biology Books and Journals?

After the Biology Library closed in the summer of 2011, most of the Biology books and journals were transferred to the Funk ACES (Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences) Library. Books and journals are shelved together in call number order, so if you visit the library you will need to get the call number of journals that you want to look at. Other less used books and journals were sent to the Oak Street Remote Storage facility and can be requested through the online catalog.

In addition, books on biology and related topics can be found at the Prairie Research Institute Library (formerly the Illinois Natural History Survey Library), the Applied Health Sciences Library, the Library of the Health Sciences, and the Veterinary Medicine Library.
