The following link will take you to a document prepared by Bloomberg, showing the "grid" of
courses in the program as of August 2006 (the most current version of the program):

- There are two certificates available: Equity and Fixed Income. You may earn certification in
either or both. After watching the three introductory videos and passing the associated tests,
there are five videos to watch and five tests to pass to earn Equity certification, and a different
set of five videos and tests to earn Fixed Income certification. To be fully certified, you need to
watch 13 videos and pass 13 tests.
- Courses are available online and are taken by watching videos through the Bloomberg
system. The videos average approximately 30 minutes each in duration; however, additional
time may be needed to practice the steps and shortcuts to prepare for the test.
- Each video has a corresponding test, which is taken through the Bloomberg system. In
order to successfully complete the test, some further exploration on the Bloomberg system, beyond
the subjects covered in the video, may be necessary.
- Overall, individuals with little or no prior experience with Bloomberg may expect to spend
approximately 1 hour on each video/test combination.
