We have recently updated the list of Catalogue Raisonnes on artists and architects held in the collections of the Ricker Library and in the University of Illinois Library system. This list is valuable for identifying key resources in the field. Please consult our on-line version of the catalogues raisonne list or ask at the Circulation Desk in the library to browse a print copy!
Next time you stop by the library, look at the latest exhibition in the display cases, which features information about special exhibitions at Regional museums. The materials will be on display through the end of May 2009.
The Ricker Library is featuring two new resources along the left-hand column of our homepage: Illinois Harvest and the Internet Archive. Several titles from our collections have been digitized and added to the Internet Archive, including issues the Catalogue of the Chicago Architectural Club Annual Exhibition, the Bulletin of the Krannert Art Museum, and L'Art Moderne. A complete list of available resources may be found on the Ricker Library's Guide to Digitized Collections. Please return often--more titles will be added soon!
Due to limited staffing, vault books cannot be retrieved between 1:00 and 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you need to access vault books during these hours, please email rickerlibrary@library.uiuc.edu by 12:00 PM on Friday to request that these materials be paged in advance of your visit.
