ARTstor
ARTstor is a digital library of art images associated with information and
software tools designed to enhance teaching, learning, and scholarship. ARTstor currently contains
approximately 400,000 images from a wide range of cultures and time periods. The database is
growing and will eventually reach 500,000.

Images Collection
The collection contains 32,000 digital images of paintings, sculpture and
architecture, including images from many important collections. The core art history images include
works from over one hundred museums , including the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay,
the Uffizi, the Prado, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the National Museums in Athens, Rome and
Stockholm, museums in Berlin, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, Cleveland Museum and the San
Francisco museum. Images from archaeological sites in Greece, Italy, Turkey and Egypt are also
included.
