CDs in the Ricker Library

The Ricker library owns a small number of CD-ROMS in Art and Architecture. These CDs are searchable by using the Online Library Catalog , but can be searched here in their entirety. These CDs are NON-Circulating , but can be used on the library's public access terminals.

A large part of this collection is comprised of CDs from the DISKUS series ( Digitales Informations-System für Kunst- und Sozialgeschichte ), a database of German art. The images and material are taken from museums, archives, offices for the preservation of historical monuments, research institutes and university institutes. With the exception of two CDs, Ricker owns all DISKUS series CDS produced to date.

Contains nearly 5,000 color, digital reproductions from the Frank Lloyd Wright Archives and has a flexible range of search possibilities: i.e., location, drawing purpose, project type, project name, date, medium. project status, draftsman, exhibition and publication history.

Great paintings, Renaissance to Impressionism : the Frick Collection: This CD contains 240 images from the Frick Collection spanning the middle ages to the 19th century. Works are searchable by seven fields: artist, artist's dates, date of work, medium, nationality, etc. and descriptive text.
