The records of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (1951-65) and the National Association of Deans and Advisors of Men (1919-51) including correspondence, minutes, newsletters, reports, speeches, programs, budgets, ledgers, surveys, clippings, papers, and reprints relating to the meetings and internal affairs of the organization, the names and functions of student personnel administrators, history of the Dean of Men, student discipline, student health, student housing, counseling, student services, student life, fraternities, sororities, student employment, financial aid, student involvement in social issues, federal aid to education, and compulsory military training.  The records include material collected for James F. Findley's 1938 dissertation on the origins of the Dean of Men and by Donfred H. Garner, Secretary-Treasurer, 1932-37; Fred H. Turner, Secretary-Treasurer, 1938-58, President, 1958-59, and Historian, 1960-65; and Carl W. Knox, Secretary-Treasurer, 1958-66.
