Description: Olympic Collection (1975-1997) contains published materials supplementing the Olympic source material in the Avery Brundage Collection (RS 26/20/37), including newspaper clippings, articles, and papers concerning Avery Brundage; publications of the Montreal (1976), Moscow (1980), Los Angeles (1984), Seoul (1988), Barcelona (1992), and Atlanta (1996) Olympics and Olympic Organizing Committees (1976-88) concerning accreditation, ceremonies, competitions, events, newsletters, staffing, meetings, reports, arts festival, public relations, programs, transportation and the Olympic games and villages; documents relating to the winter Olympics at Lake Placid (1980), Sarajevo (1984), Calgary (1988), Lillehammer (1994); promotional materials submitted for sites to host the Olympic Games and winter Olympics 1994-2004; and commemorative, promotional, and tourist materials and information from Lake Placid (1980), Moscow (1980), and Sarajevo (1984).
