Mumford relating to costs of keeping Draper's horses; a 45 page letter (3/25/07) from Randolph Huntington, a horse-breeder in Rochester, NY, to Eugene V. Davenport concerning the theory, practice and history of horse breeding; files on Harry S. Grindley's Laboratory of Physiological Chemistry and its chemical study of meats and saltpeter investigations (1903, 1907, 1910-13, 1917, 1921); faculty listing (1937); certificates of the University of Illinois' membership in livestock associations (1907-35) and correspondence (1917-1968), including a signed permit giving permission to the Department of Animal Husbandry to disinter the body of Gladys Vincent for the purpose of bacteriological examination (1921).
