Description: Printed biennial reports submitted by the Experiment Station to the President, including annual reports (1887-1938, 1947-48), a nine-year report (1938-47) and biennial reports (1948- ) on agricultural research at the University. The reports include lists of staff, publications, research projects and theses and narrative descriptions of research done in each departmental or divisional area and administrative activities. From 1924 to 1948, the reports were titled "A Year's Progress in Solving Farm Problems of Illinois." Since 1948, they are titled "Research Progress at the Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station." From 1913-30, the reports are bound with copies of bulletins and circulars. The series also includes an alphabetical subject index for 1924-37 and subsequent reports.
