Circulation Assistant
Graduate Hourly in the Law Library
Position available: Graduate hourly – 10-12 hours per week - Available in the Law Library 2012-2013 academic year.
Duties: Looking for an interesting job to help you learn your way around the library? We'll train you to assist customers at a busy public service desk and use the library's catalog to help us serve the public. An important part of the job is maintaining the order of the Library's books. If you have excellent customer service skills, a good eye for detail, can push a cart weighing 40 pounds and don't mind picking up the occasional dusty book, please e-mail Hal Southern at halsouth@illinois.edu, attaching your resume, the days and times you are able to work, the number of hours you'd like to work per week, and the names and phone numbers of 3 people who can serve as a reference for you. $10.00. Must be a graduate student enrolled in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science. The following time slots are open: June 11 through July 24: Sunday 5:00-8:00 p.m.; July 15 through August 4: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; August 6-24: 12:30-7:00 p.m.; many hours will be available in the fall semester.
