Preservation Subcommittee

Committee Charge

As a sub-committee of the Collection Development Committee (CDC), the Preservation Committee reviews the goals and priorities of the preservation program, advises the CDC on matters relating to the preservation of collections in all formats, and initiates and participates in special preservation-related projects as requested by the CDC and the Head of Preservation.

Committee Composition

The Committee is appointed by the Associate University Librarian for Services and includes the Preservation Librarian (Chair), the Circulation Librarian, a representative of the University Archives, and a representative from the Rare Book & Manuscript Library. In addition, four other members are appointed at-large; at-large members serve a two-year staggered term.
