Access Task force Working Group 2 -- Tangible collections
 
Update for week of February 17, 2003

The group is continuing with indepth investigation of goals presented at the last meeting of the whole.  Individual assignments as follows --
 
Mellon recon -- B. Henigman
 
As of the end of January - 1,086,000 records have been processed by OCLC, 414,000 to go.  Of the 1,086,000 total, this means 581,661 were definately matched to
OCLC copy.  Of the 1,086,000 total - 90,339 showed possible matches to more than one OCLC record and 148,249 did not match any records.
If the trend continues we will have successfully matched about 1 million of the 1.5 million records sent to OCLC.
